Available

The Available view displays all the Containers with PINs that are available to be used. Express Pin becomes available once the unit has discharged and if all clearances have been applied.

Auto-Requested

The Auto-Request view displays all Auto-Requested containers. The only information you will see on the Auto-Request page is the container number, PIN status and the 'Cancel & Remove' button. Once an Auto-Request has been registered PortConnect will attempt to obtain a PIN for 2 weeks from the time of the Auto-Request. If a PIN is obtained then the container will automatically move to the Available section and you will be able to see the full details of the container. If a PIN cannot be obtained during this time the Auto-Request will lapse and the container will automatically disappear from the screen.

Suspended

The Suspended view displays PINs which have been Suspended by the Port. PINs can become Suspended if a Stop is applied to a container which was previously all cleared. If a PIN becomes Suspended, the container will move from the Available view to the Suspended view. Once the PIN becomes Available again it will automatically move back to the Available view. You can search containers in Track & Trace to check their status and see why the PIN may have become Suspended.

Used

The Used view displays all used PINs. Containers will automatically move from the Available view to the Used view once the Pin is used at the port. Used PINs will be displayed for 2 weeks and then will automatically disappear from the screen. You can click 'Remove' if you wish to clear this record from the Display Screen immediately.

Cancelled

The Cancelled view displays all Cancelled PINs. When you cancel a PIN an Available or Suspended PIN the container will appear in the Cancelled view. Cancelled PINs will be displayed for 2 weeks (from the time of Cancellation) and then will automatically disappear from the screen. You can click 'Remove' if you wish to clear this record from the Display Screen immediately.

Total

The Total views display a summary of all the other views. You are also able to Cancel and Remove PINs from the Total view.Click

Express Pin Notifications

PortConnect can send automated Notifications when Express Pins become Suspended or Available. Pins can become suspended if a Stop or hold is placed on a container after the pin has been obtained. Pins can become Available if a previously Suspended pin becomes Available again or when an Auto-Requested Pin is obtained.

Express Pin Notifications can help save time for users by reducing the number of times you need to check the Express Pin Display screen.
