Search: free text search is available. Note: this does not allow for spaces which will result in a new line.

Assigning Exceptions to a Vessel Visit
The screen displays all exception messages, these are messages that failed to automatically match to a Vessel Visit. Each exception message will display the reason why message was not originally matched.
Exception messages can be manually assigned to a Vessel Visit (vessels in the select box are from the dashboard page).
The steps to manually assign an exception message to a vessel visit are:
Tick the box next to the exception message from the exception records list
Look for the vessel visit on the vessel visit search and make sure vessel visit is correct (both Vessel and Voyage number matches)
Click on assign to vessel visit
When it’s assigned the customs exception is removed from the screen and can now be view on the Customs page.

Assign to Vessel Visit
The reason for the exception is displayed under grid heading “Exception”. The user will need to refer to these messages and assign the item to a vessel visit.

To do this:
Select the tick box for the exception items that are to be linked.
Select the Vessel (and voyage) in the vessel visit search for linking.
Click “Assign to Vessel Visit”. This will remove the chosen items from the Exceptions page as they can now be found in the Customs page.
