Organisations
Summary
The Organisation page has the following functionality:
Create and maintain Organisations.
Assign Types to Organisations. Each Organisation can be assigned multiple ‘Types’. The Type determines the visibility that users have across vessel visits
Organisations marked as Shipping Line/ Agent and Stevedores are used in vessel visits.
Organisations are also used as a ‘Source’ when uploading a document.
Functionality
Create an Organisation
To create an organisation, click the ‘Create’ button found to the top right of the page: . A pop-up window to ‘Add Organisation’ will show. Complete the fields and click ‘OK’.
This will add the organisation to the grid.
Multiple ‘Type[s]’ can be added to the organisation.
Edit an Organisation
To edit an organisation’s details click the corresponding ‘Edit’ button: to prompt the pop-up window in which the fields can be edited.
To edit an address, click the button: this will prompt a pop-up window with multiple tabs for the billing, physical and postal addresses. These fields can be filled out.
The icon button: clears all entered address details in that tab.
Deactivate/Activate an Organisation
Un-check the checkbox to deactivate an organisation. It should show as:
Click the un-checked checkbox to activate an organisation. It should show as:
Filters
Clears filters previously selected.
Search filter for text.
‘Active Only’: unchecked will include inactive records as well as active. Checked will filter for only active.
